Australian Defence Staff (Washington) - Organisation
Defence representation in Washington covers all Defence policy issues, issues of a joint operational nature, specific Single Service matters of the three Services (Navy, Army and Air Force), and a broad range of acquisition, industry and science activities. Support staff provide the day to day running of Australian Defence Staff (Washington), this includes the following:
  • executive support to Head of Australian Defence Staff (Washington);

  • administrative support to Australian Department of Defence personnel in North America;

  • financial support to both Australian Defence Staff (Washington) and personnel posted to North America;

  • visit procedures to North America;

  • registry support for Australian Defence Staff (Washington);

  • information technology support to both Australian Defence Staff (Washington) and personnel posted to North America; and

  • communication support for Head of Australian Defence Staff (Washington.
