To apply for an OPPSAT flight, follow the following steps in sequence:
- First, complete an Application for an OPPSAT Wait List Number. The number is issued by JMODE COORD and is a requirement for OPPSAT eligibility.
- Click here to check your Wait List Number. Allocation may take approximately 2 weeks.
- Check available Flight Schedules.
NOTE: DO NOT PROCEED TO STEP 4 UNTIL YOU HAVE BEEN ALLOCATED A WAITLIST NUMBER.
- Complete Application for OPPSAT Seating specifying your preferred flight and fax to
SABC.
- Check Successful Applicants to see if your application has been successful. This is normally published approximately 2 weeks prior to departure of flight.
- Successful applicants must complete a PY60 Form and all adult passengers must read Travel Conditions. Please print from screen.
- Passengers 2 years and over must pay in-flight rations.
- SABC provides each passenger with a copy of the SABC OPPSAT message.
This document must be carried by the passenger when travelling.
